Excellent detailed map with 40 hiking routes. Contours at 100m intervals, spot heights, and elevation colouring with relief shading present the topography. Roads and tracks are clearly marked, as well as places of interest and various local facilities, such as hospitals or village health posts. Also highlighted on the map are 40 selected walks, all graded according to the degree of difficulty, the type of terrain, and the average hiking time. On the reverse of the map beautiful colour photos show some of the views along the routes.
Also included are small insets with a plan of Porto Novo and a map of the whole archipelago of Cape Verde. The map is GPS compatible (datum WGS84) and has latitude and longitude grid at 1' intervals. Map legend and all text includes English.
