Indexed, double-sided, map on durable, waterproof paper, with inset street plans of Tangier, Rabat, Marrakesh and Casablanca. Relief is depicted by altitude tinting and spot heights in highland regions. Sand dunes, wadis and salt flats are also shown. Road detail includes some minor roads and tracks, and intermediate road distances are indicated on main routes. Approximate locations of some petrol stations are marked. Main ferry routes are indicated and airports and airfields are shown. District boundaries (but not names) are drawn and a range of small symbols denote landmarks and tourism features, eg. sites of interest, antiquities, forts, mosques, post offices, border crossings, hospitals, oases, waterholes, parks and reserves.
The map is annotated with facts and notes on points of interest and there is a glossary of geographical terms. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals. The country is presented as east and west sections, with a generous overlap, and includes Western Sahara and the Canary Islands.
