One of the titles in a series of maps of the administrative provinces of Pakistan, produced by the country’s national survey organization. The maps show more villages than on the more general maps of the whole country from other publishers. Cartography varies considerably - please see individual descriptions for more details.
In this title: the map shows local districts in different colours, with divisions into tahsils (or talukas), indicating administrative headquarters of each unit. Road network distinguishes between motorways, national highways, local roads (metalled or unsurfaced) and tracks, and indicates locations of petrol stations. Railway lines show different gauges. Topographical information is limited to rivers and canals, plus occasional spot heights. Also marked are archaeological sites. The map has a latitude and longitude grid at intervals of 1º.
