Indexed general road map with street plans of Thimpu and Paro. General relief is depicted by altitude tinting, with glaciated regions highlighted. Road detail distinguished main roads, secondary roads and paths. Passes are shown but very few altitudes are marked. Provincial boundaries and names are marked and national parks are indicated. Symbols show monasteries, temples, monuments, fortresses, sites of interest, broadcasting stations, locations with post offices, telephones and campsites, Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals.
Two insets show street plans of Thimpu and Paro (including the airport). These indicate notable buildings and various landmarks and useful details e.g. embassies, hospitals, bus stations, petrol stations, monasteries and temples. The Thimpu map is indexed for streets and places of interest, the Paro map is indexed for places of interest and public buildings.
