Munich in a series of waterproof and tear-resistant, pocket street maps with their handy 10x10cm format cleverly concealing a collection of plans and road maps, plus a wealth of tourist information.
On one side is a street plan at 1:23,000 approx., covering a wide area of the city, extending west to include the grounds of the Nymphenburg Palace, north to the Olympia Stadium and the BMW museum, and west beyond the ring road. Main places of interest and public buildings, as well as S-bahn and U-bahn stations are clearly marked.
On the reverse the central part of the city is shown in greater detail. A road map shows the whole of the Munich conurbation, including road access to the airport, with another small map covering a wider area with road connections to the Alpine resorts, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Augsburg.
Two illustrated panels have descriptions of main sites in the city and tips for day trips, and further panels provide information on the city’s history and its main districts, listings of museums, churches, beer gardens and beer halls, and other sites.
