Details
One of the titles in a series of road maps covering some of Australia’s popular tourist regions, with street plans of main towns and numerous advertisements for local accommodation, shops, sport and leisure centres and other businesses. The main map (approx. half of one side of the sheet) is indexed and highlights places of interest and areas shown on the reverse as enlargements or street plans.
In this title: the main map at 1:450,000 covers Adelaide and surroundings, extending to Burra in the north, east to Mount Mary, Mannum and Murray Bridge, south to Victor Harbor and Delamere and in the west to Gulf St Vincent, Port Wakefield and Snowtown. Enlargements show areas with wineries in greater detail: Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Clare Valley - all 1:111,000. Street plans show Angaston, Burra, Kapunda, Lyndoch, Nurioopta and Tanunda. The map has indexes for wineries and for other local attractions.
