Road map of the country showing general relief, and including a street plan of central Tbilisi and an index for architectural monuments. Names of cities and some towns are stated in Georgian script as well as Roman. Road classification includes some minor roads, although there is no indication of road surface conditions. High passes and their open periods are marked. Main railways and ferries are marked, and province boundaries are drawn. General relief is shown by this publisher’s characteristic elevation tinting, combined with spot heights. Nature reserves are marked and symbols denote airports, sea ports, mosques, monasteries and antiquities, eg. ruins, bridges and fortresses. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals. Legend is in English and German.
The inset street plan of central Tbilisi indicates churches, notable buildings, a selection of embassies and the metro lines and stations. There is also a diagram of the metro system.
