The point where Brazil, Guyana & Venezuela meet is situated on Mount Roraima, the highest of over 100 spectacular tablelands locally known as Tepuis. A little explored region providing a harsh habitat, which inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to write The Lost World.
In this publication is a selection of notes, maps and diagrams introducing the local history, geography, geology, flora & fauna of this fascinating region. The most detailed map is at the scale of 1:100,000 & composed from remote sensing imagery. Highlighted features include main trails, rivers, lakes, campsites, refuges and local climate aspects.
