Details
One of the titles in a series of road maps covering some of Australia’s popular tourist regions, with street plans of main towns and numerous advertisements for local accommodation, shops, sport and leisure centres and other businesses. The main map (approx. half of one side of the sheet) is indexed and highlights places of interest and areas shown on the reverse as enlargements or street plans.
In this title: two touring maps, a section of the Stuart Highway at 1:2,000,000 extending from the Renner Springs Roadhouse in the north to just beyond the state border in the south, plus an enlargement of the MacDonnell Ranges, east and west of Alice Springs, at 1:450,000. Two small insets show the Uluru/Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta/The Olgas in greater detail. On the reverse is an indexed street plan of Alice Springs.
