Main map at 1:730,000 shows the coastal region and part of neighbouring Bosnia, from Istria to Dubrovnik. General relief is represented by hill-shading & some spot heights for selected peaks, and the road network is clearly depicted. Railways, ferries, steep road gradients, national park boundaries are marked, and symbols highlight airports, churches, antiquities and other sites of interest.
On the reverse are street plans of central Split, Rijeka, Dubrovnik & Zadar, showing selected hotels, notable buildings, pedestrian areas, museums, parks and other landmarks.
The maps are indexed for streets, towns and places of interest as appropriate for the scale, and throughout the coverage 30 major attractions are highlighted and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, telephones, climate & tourist information resources.
