Ikaria is a delightful, green, well-watered island with many scattered hamlets among the orchards and vineyards. It is noted for its honey, as well as radioactive hot springs. Tourism in Ikaria, and in the neighbouring small island of Fourni, is an emerging market, with many thousands of visitors every year.
