Detailed, waterproof and tear-resistant, A2-size map for hikers and other visitors to the area. Contour lines are drawn at 10m intervals, with several different types of vegetation and terrain indicated on the map, e.g. different kinds of fynbos, marshes, plantations, forests and thickets. Road network includes untarred public roads, private roads indicating access open to pedestrians or mountain bikers, signposts, parking areas, etc. Footpaths are clearly shown, including dangerous or restricted access sections. Extensive overprint highlights other places of interest, picnic areas, view points, benches and natural shelters, restaurants and drinking water, recreational facilities, etc. UTM grid lines are drawn on the map at 200m intervals.
The map indicates some of the over 100 Kalk Bay caves for which this area is famous with a warning to visitors against hiking off the marked paths for personal safety.
