Details
Indexed physical road map, with street plans. The country is displayed in its entirety on one side, with hill-shading effectively showing the general relief and selected peak heights. Road detail includes unpaved roads and dirt roads, and shows intermediate driving distances on main routes. Administrative department boundaries are marked, also national parks and reserves - although these are not particularly obvious. Symbols classify settlements according to population size. Other symbols denote airports, ports, high passes, thermal springs, archaeological sites, mines and other sites of interest to tourists. Latitude & longitude lines are at 1° intervals. The legend is in Spanish and English.
There is a road distance chart and the map is indexed on the reverse for settlements, rivers, lakes and places of interest. Also on the reverse: a map at 1:60,000 of the principal roads and districts of Lima and suburbs, plus simple, clear street plans of central Lima, Chiclayo, Trujilo, Cajamarca, Iquitos, Huancayo, Huaraz, Piura, Arequipa, Cusco and Ica.
