Four scenic drives are highlighted and given brief descriptions. The map also shows vehicle entry restrictions, tracks, and footpaths, including the Fraser Island Great Walk. A wide range of symbols highlight facilities such as accommodation (backpackers accommodation, campsites and caravan parks, etc.), water and fuel supplies, rubbish disposal sites, boat anchorage, sport and recreational facilities, places of interest, etc. Five insets provide plans of the main accommodation areas, with two more showing the Central Station - Lake McKenzie area at 1:24,600 and the Rainbow Beach - Inskip Point at 1:80,000.
