The main map at 1:15,000 shows most of the city centre, from Cherry Creek in the south-east to Globeville Industrial Area in the north and Lakewood Gulch Park in the west. Detail includes railways, metro routes, one-way streets, car parks, and public buildings. Colours distinguish parks and built-up areas and a range of symbols denote various landmarks, monuments, notable buldings, churches, golf courses, museums, hotels, information centres, sites of interest etc. On the reverse is general map of Denver and environs at 1:810,000 extending to Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Gunnison and the Colorado/Wyoming border.
All the maps are indexed for streets, towns and places of interest as appropriate for the scale, and throughout the coverage 25 major attractions are highlighted and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, tourist information resources. A diagram of the local rail (T-Rex) and metro (MAC) public transport network is included.
