Well-researched plan of the city with symbols highlighting hospitals, hotels, bus stations, places to eat, guest houses, cinemas, shops, places of interest and temples. On the reverse are larger scale plans of the Old Town, central Chiang Mai, Warorot Day Market and the Night Bazaar Area. A smaller scale map also shows locations beyond the city, worth considering for out-of-town trips. All the maps, although sketchy in appearance are annotated with helpful hints for visitors, informed by the author’s extensive experience of the city. An accompanying booklet provides lots of supporting information and useful addresses for accommodation, shopping, dining, entertainment, etc.
