Details
One of the titles in a series of maps of the administrative provinces of Pakistan, produced by the country’s national survey organization. The maps show more villages than on the more general maps of the whole country from other publishers. Cartography varies considerably - please see individual descriptions for more details.
In this title: the map shows local districts in different colours, with divisions into tahsils (or talukas), indicating administrative headquarters of each unit. Railways show single or double lines and different gauges. Road information is less detailed in its presentation, distinguishing between metalled and unsurfaced roads and tracks. The map has some relief shading and spot heights, with topographical information also including swamps, marshes, mangroves, rivers, seasonal streams, canal and wells. The map has a latitude and longitude grid at intervals of 1º.
