The main map at 1:17,500 shows most of the city centre, from Ted Rhodes park in the north-west to Greenwood Cemetery in the south-east. An inset at the same scale show Opryland. Detail includes one-way streets, pedestrian zones, railways, car parks, and public buildings. Colours distinguish parks and built-up areas and a range of symbols denote various landmarks, monuments, notable buldings, churches, museums, hotels, information offices, sites of interest etc. On the reverse is general map of the greater Nashville area at 1:120,000 showing main communications, a road map Tennessee and surroundings from Cincinatti to Tuscaloosa at 1:3,750,000, and a plan of the Nashville Superspedway complex.
All the maps are indexed for streets, towns and places of interest as appropriate for the scale, and throughout the coverage 26 major attractions are highlighted and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, tourist information resources. A diagram of the local public transport network is included.
