A4, 88-page paperback atlas of Argentina with Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and southern Brazil, providing enlargements for environs of Argentina’s main cities and 132 street plans, plus recommendations for hotels, etc.
The main section of the atlas covers Argentina, with mapping arranged by province. Scales vary according to the size of the province, mostly around 1:1,000,000 to 1:1,750,000. Road classification shows eight different types of roads and local tracks, most with driving distances. Railway lines are shown with stops.
The maps have relief shading with heights for main peaks. National parks and protected areas are highlighted and symbols mark places of interest. Also shown are boundaries dividing each province into departments. No geographical coordinates are provided. Each province had a separate index of localities and includes street plans of its main towns, information on climate, and a distance table. Map legend is in Spanish only
The atlas also includes indexed maps at scales less detailed than those used for Argentina covering the southernmost part of Brazil (Including Rio, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte), plus the whole of Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.
A separate 13-page section has lists of hotels and campsites in Argentina, all with contact details.
