The main map at 1:15,000 shows the city centre from the Red Fort in the north to Purana Qila in the south, and from the Indira Ghandi Sports Complex in the east to the eastern edge of the Central Ridge Reserved Forest in the west. Detail includes one-way streets, pedestrian zones, railway and metro lines and stations, car parks, and public buildings. Colours distinguish parks and built-up areas and a range of symbols denote various landmarks, notable buldings, embassies, museums, places of worship, hotels, sites of interest etc. An inset shows Connaught Place in more detail at 1:7,000 and there is also a plan of Agra at 1:17,500 showing the Fort and the Taj Mahal. On the reverse is a smaller, less detailed map at 1:100,000 of the Delhi area showing main roads and railway connections, and another general road map at 1:4,000,000 of northern India.
All the maps are indexed for streets and places of interest, and throughout the coverage 32 major attractions are highlighted and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, tourist information resources. A diagram of the metro network is included.
