Double-sided, road map of the southern part of the continent, with various countries shown in different colours. The map extends southwards from just beyond of 2º north (the northern bend of the Congo River). Coverage east-west along its northern part extends from the border between Kenya and Somalia to central Gabon. Most countries are shown with internal administrative divisions and names of states or provinces. The road network highlights main routes, indicating intermediate driving distances and border crossings. Where appropriate, secondary roads and local tracks are also marked. Symbols highlight places of interest and national parks and protested areas are prominently marked in contrasting colour. Topographic information is limited to rivers and lakes, marshes and salt pans, plus names of some of the mountain ranges. Latitude and longitude lines are at 2 degree intervals. The map also includes a distance table.
