The main map at 1:13,500 shows most of the city centre, from Brickfields Park in the south-west to Connolly Station in the east and Mountjoy Prison in the north. Detail includes railways, one-way streets, car parks, and public buildings. Colours distinguish parks and built-up areas and a range of symbols denote various landmarks, monuments, notable buldings, post offices, churches, museums, hotels, information centres, sites of interest etc. There is also a road map at 1:100,000 of the greater Dublin area showing districts and main routes.
On the reverse:
- a general road map of Ireland's east coast from Belfast to Waterford, extending as far west as Longford.
All the maps are indexed for streets, towns and places of interest as appropriate for the scale, and throughout the coverage 26 major attractions are highlighted and provided with brief descriptions. Some general notes for tourists are also included ie. public transport matters, money, tourist information resources. A diagram of the local suburban rail network is included.
