Detailed road map of the national parks, forests and other protected areas lying north-east of Melbourne, extending eastwards along the Princes Highway to Morwell, northwards along the Hume Highway to Seymour. Road network provides names of most roads and tracks outside the Melbourne conurbation, and local railways lines are shown. The map also shows selected walking tracks and highlights the National Horse Riding Trail. Numerous national parks and state forests which cover most of this area are highlighted, and symbols mark campsites, bush camping areas, roadside rest areas, places of interest, etc. The map has a UTM grid, plus latitude and longitude lines at intervals of 30’. On the reverse there are notes on the region’s attractions, contact details for more information, and a table of facilities in the national parks, state forests and reserves.
