Indexed, pocket street plan of the city, with additional road maps of the Battlefields region around Ladysmith, and the Midlands region. One-way streets, railways, built-up areas, parks, walking trails, and district names are marked. Symbols depict tourist information sites, hotels, car parks, places of interest, museums, post offices and a range other useful services and facilities. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30” intervals, and the map is indexed for streets.
On the reverse are two road maps. At 1:250,000 is the Battlefields region around Ladysmith and the area to the south, which includes Frere, Spioenkop Dam and the Thukela Biosphere. The other map at 1:100,000 covers the Midlands region between Hilton and Mooi River. Detail includes, minor and untarred roads, intermediate driving distances, railways, airports, hotels, battlefield sites, military cemeteries, nature reserves and other sites of interest. The Midlands map is indexed for places of interest and accommodation.
