Handy-sized road atlas of New Zealand with cartography at approx 1:400,000 for general road mapping.
The maps show unsurfaced roads and some tracks, intermediate driving distances, campgrounds/caravan parks, railways, national parks and reserves, marine parks, places of interest, information centres, wineries, Lord of the Rings movie set locations & various recreation sites. There are also 20 city/town centre street plans, and main through-route maps for the suburbs of Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch, at c. 1:100,000.
Over 60 motorcycle-friendly, sealed road routes and a further 20 gravel road routes are highlighted on the maps and described by motorcycling writer Peter Mitchell.
