Small handy map, combining a detailed road map with street plans of local towns. The main map at 1:275,000 is indexed and covers the region around Lake Rotorua, extending along the coast to Tauranga and Opotiki. An enlargement at 1:125,000 shows the immediate environs of the lake. Forest parks and special reserves are highlighted and symbols indicate hot and cold springs, thermal areas, accommodation including campsites and caravan parks, and numerous sport and recreational facilities. The map has no geographical coordinates.
On the reverse are indexed street plans of Rotorua itself, with an enlargement for the central area, plus Coastlands, Egdecumbe, Kawerau, Mamaku, Matata, Murupara, Ohope - Ohope Beach, Opotiki, Taneatua, Te Teko, Waiotahi Beach, and Whakatane.
