A4-size, spiral bound atlas with 50 selected routes across some of the most beautiful parts of Australia. The atlas provides an introduction to the dos and don’ts of driving in such a varied and demanding terrain. Fifty most spectacular routes across the state are presented on separate detailed maps (scales vary), annotated with descriptions and information on a wide range of facilities from accommodation and campsites to general stores, medical centres, fuel supplies, repair workshops, etc. GPS waypoints are provided throughout.
Also included is a road atlas of the whole state at approx. 1:2,326,000, with more detailed coverage of the more densely populated south-western corner, at approx. 1:556,000. Numerous places of interest are highlighted. An index of place names includes national parks, nature reserves, etc. 160 pages.
