Road map of Ghana with plan of central Accra on the reverse. On the main map road detail is confined to main and secondary roads. Main railways are shown and airports, river ports and harbours are marked. A general indication of relief is given by simple altitude tinting. An extensive range of additional symbols show many features: attractions and locations of interest, historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries, economic activities (eg. agricultural produce, mining, crafts), cultural sites (eg. churches, shrines), and selected institutions. The map is indexed for towns, and a table lists historic castles and forts. Latitude and longitude lines are marked at 1° intervals.
The Accra plan is not indexed but shows a range of useful details, eg. bus/lorry park/taxi ranks, notable buildings, embassies, hotels, banks, hospitals, churches, places of interest, etc. Contact details for selected hotels are listed.
