One of the titles in a series of road maps covering some of Australia’s popular tourist regions, with street plans of main towns and numerous advertisements for local accommodation, shops, sport and leisure centres and other businesses. The main map (approx. half of one side of the sheet) is indexed and highlights places of interest and areas shown on the reverse as enlargements or street plans.
In this title: the main map at1:400,000 covers the central part of Victoria, from the Grampians National Park in the west to Werribee in the east, and from the Hamilton Highway to beyond Stawell, Maryborough and Castlemaine in the north. Street plans show: Ararat, Creswick, Daylesford - Hepburn Springs, Halls Gap, Kyneton, Stawell, and Woodend, plus on the reverse a large plan of Ballarat, extending south to Buninyong.
