One of the titles in a series of road maps covering some of Australia’s popular tourist regions, with street plans of main towns and numerous advertisements for local accommodation, shops, sport and leisure centres and other businesses. The main map (approx. half of one side of the sheet) is indexed and highlights places of interest and areas shown on the reverse as enlargements or street plans.
In this title: very small touring map (no index) at 1:560,000 of the south-eastern corner of Tasmania, with an enlargement of Bruny Island. The remainder of that side of the map is taken by street plans of Cygnet, Geeveston and Port Huon, Huonville, Kingston, New Norfolk, Orford, Port Arthur, Richmond, Seven Mile Beach, Sorell and Midway Point, and Triabunna. On the reverse there is a large, indexed street plan of Hobart with suburbs along both sides of the Derwent as far as the Bridgewater Causeway, plus and enlargement for the city centre.
