One of the titles in a series of touring and trekking maps of Chile and the neighbouring regions of Argentina. The main map spans the country and extends approx. 175km north and south of Santiago. Relief is portrayed by altitude tinting and spot heights of selected peaks. Roads are classified either as paved or unpaved, with driving distances shown on many local routes. Regional boundaries, national parks, railways, airports and aerodromes are marked. Other details include symbols for places with accommodation, customs points, and hot springs. Latitude and longitude margin ticks are at 30’ intervals. A small inset shows road and rail connection between Los Andes in Chile and Mendoza in Argentina.
On the reverse there is a more detailed map of the coastal stretch between San Antonio and Quintay, highlighting the beaches, plus street maps at various unspecified scales: Valparaiso's coastal region, Los Andes, La Ligua, Rancagua, San Antonio, Quintero, Curico, San Fernando, Vina del Mar, Renaca and Pichilemu.
