Principally concentrating on Argentina, this paperback road atlas also covers some surrounding territories at scales ranging from 1:1 million to approx 1:1.5 million. Chile - 1:3.5 million to 1:2 million; Paraguay - 1:2.5 million; Uruguay - approx 1:1.25 million. Only the southern end of Brazil is included, south of Aracatuba, at approx 1:2.5million. Detail includes intermediate driving distances on most roads, railways, sea ferries, airports, administrative boundaries, tourist information offices, protected areas and national parks. General relief is represented by hill-shading, with altitudes stated for significant peaks. No latitude and longitude coordinates are marked.
Throughout the Argentina coverage the road mapping is complemented by larger scale more detailed maps of selected areas and also street plans. These have more symbols representing features and landmarks such as bus terminals, campsites, lighthouses, museums, ski resorts, etc. Pages are colour-coded by country. It includes mileage charts, a full index of place names and a section listing hotels. All supporting text and map legend are in Spanish only.
